What We Believe
The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments contain all things necessary to salvation, and are the rule and ultimate standard of faith and morals.
The Historic Creeds of Christianity (the Apostles', Nicene, and Athanasian). These creeds are the boundary of the faith. We also affirm the teaching of the first four Ecumenical Councils and the Christological clarifications of the fifth, sixth and seventh Councils. In other words, we are catholic in the Anglican way.
God eternally exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We deny all ancient and modern heresies that confuse, confound, or contradict the Church's established doctrine of the Holy Trinity.
Jesus Christ is the eternally-begotten son of God, born of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He is God and Man, in two natures and one Person forever: He is the only way to God the Father.
The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
The sanctity of the sacrament of Holy Matrimony between one biological man and one biological woman. We deny all current attempts to redefine gender and marriage. Click here: Nashville Statement - CBMW.
Christ as really present in the Eucharist. We eagerly welcome all baptized Christians to join us in Holy Communion around the Lord's Table.
Following the example of Christ, the teaching of Holy Scripture, and the united testimony of the Church, the apostolic ministry of blessing, consecrating, and absolving is intended to be exercised only by male, baptized persons who have been called to and trained for this holy vocation.
We embrace the seven sacraments: Holy Baptism and the Holy Eucharist as generally necessary for salvation, then confirmation, marriage, confession, ordination, and holy unction.
We are pro-life! We are committed to protect life and prevent abortion and euthanasia.
Above all things, a generous and ecumenical charity! We wish to be warm-hearted toward all who love Our Lord!
